【摘要】:ThisproposedaddendumdeletesException4.1(a)inresponsetorecentstudiesofwindowopeningpatternsinCalifornia(coveringmuchoftheregiondescribedin4.1(a))showingwindowopeningbyhouseholdresidentsismuchlessthanexpected.Windowopeningoccursprimarilyinresponsetothermalcomfortratherthanindoorcontaminants.Windowopening,assumedtoprovidetheventilationrequiredinthisexceptioninmildclimates,shouldnotbeanacceptablealternativetotheventilationrequirements.
