【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecovershowdirect(straight)wirelinerotarycasingadvancementdrillingandsamplingproceduresmaybeusedforgeoenvironmentalexplorationandinstallationofsubsurfacewater-qualitymonitoringdevices.Note18212;Theterm"direct"withrespecttotherotarydrillingmethodofthisguideindicatesthatawater-baseddrillingfluidorairisinjectedthroughadrill-rodcolumntorotatingbit(s)orcoringbit.Thefluidoraircoolsthebit(s)andtransportscuttingstothesurfaceintheannulusbetweenthedrillrodcolumnandtheboreholewall.Note28212;Thisguidedoesnotincludealloftheproceduresforfluidrotarysystemswhichareaddressedinaseparateguide,GuideD5783.1.2Theterm"casingadvancement"issometimesusedtodescriberotarywirelinedrillingbecauseatanytime,thecenterpilotbitorcorebarrelassembliesmayberemovedandthelargeinsidediameterdrillrodscanactasatemporarycasingfortestingorinstallationofmonitoringdevices.Thisguideaddressescasing-advancementequipmentinwhichthedrillrod(casing)isadvancedbyrotaryforceappliedtothebitwithapplicationofstaticdownforcetoaidinthecuttingprocess.1.3Thisguideincludesseveralformsofrotarywirelinedrillingconfigurations.Generalboreholeadvancementmaybeperformedwithoutsamplingbyusingapilotrollerconeordragbituntilthedesireddepthisreached.Alternately,thematerialmaybecontinuouslyorincrementallysampledbyreplacingthepilotbitwithacore-barrelassemblydesignedforcoringeitherrockorsoil.RockcoringshouldbeperformedinaccordancewithPracticeD2113.1.4Thevaluesstatedinbothinch-poundandSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Directrotarywirelinedrillingmethodsforgeoenvironmentalexplorationwillofteninvolvesafetyplanning,administration,anddocumentation.Thisguidedoesnotpurporttospecificallyaddressexplorationandsitesafety.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.7Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
