【摘要】:Heatflowmeterapparatusarebeingusedtomeasurethecenter-of-panelportionofavacuuminsulationpanel,whichtypicallyhasaveryhighvalueofthermalresistivity(thatis,equaltoorgreaterthan90m-K/W).AsdescribedinSpecificationC1484,thecenter-of-panelthermalresistivityisused,alongwiththepanelgeometryandbarriermaterialthermalconductivity,todeterminetheeffectivethermalresistanceoftheevacuatedpanel.Usingaheatflowmeterapparatustomeasurethethermalresistivityofnon-homogenousandhighthermalresistancespecimensisanon-standardapplicationoftheequipment,andshallonlybeperformedbyqualifiedpersonnelwithunderstandingofheattransferanderrorpropagation.Familiaritywiththeconfigurationofboththeapparatusandthevacuumpanelisnecessary.Thecenter-of-panelthermaltransmissionpropertiesofevacuatedpanelsvaryduetothecompositionofthematerialsofconstruction,meantemperatureandtemperaturedifference,andthepriorhistory.Theselectionofrepresentativevaluesforthethermaltransmissionpropertiesofanevacuatedpanelforaparticularapplicationmustbebasedonaconsiderationofthesefactorsandwillnotapplynecessarilywithoutmodificationtoallserviceconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofsteady-statethermaltransmissionthroughthecenterofaflatrectangularvacuuminsulationpanelusingaheatflowmeterapparatus.1.2Totalheattransferthroughthenon-homogenousgeometryofavacuuminsulationpanelrequiresthedeterminationofseveralfactors,asdiscussedinSpecificationC1484.Oneofthosefactorsisthecenter-of-panelthermalresistivity.Thecenter-of-panelthermalresistivityisanapproximationofthethermalresistivityofthecoreevacuatedregion.1.3ThistestmethodisbaseduponthetechnologyofTestMethodC518butincludesmodificationsforvacuumpanelapplicationsasoutlinedinthistestmethod.1.4ThistestmethodshallbeusedinconjunctionwithPracticeC1045andPracticeC1058.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
