【摘要】:Allporcelainenamelcoatingsorglasscoatingsarebynecessityundersomedegreeofcompressionatroomtemperature.Thedesireddegreeofcompressionorstressdependsuponthetypeofwareandtheenduseoftheitem.Somemethodofdeterminingrelativecompressivestressofenamelsisnecessarytoestablishthesuitabilityofanenamelforaproposedapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthecompressivestresses(Note0)developedbyfiredporcelainenamelsusingtheloaded-beammethod.Note0Althoughsomemayinterpretthecalculationsthatareusedinthistestmethodasindicatingcompressiveload,itiscommonlyreferredtoascompressivestresswithintheporcelainenamelindustry.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtotheuseoftheloaded-beammethod.However,thismethodincludescharts(and)thatprovideforconversionofloaded-beamtestresultstowarpandringstressvalues.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
