【摘要】:Servicelifetestdataoftenshowdifferentdistributionshapesthanmanyothertypesofdata.Thisisduetotheeffectsofmeasurementerror(typicallynormallydistributed),combinedwiththoseuniqueeffectswhichskewservicelifedatatowardsearlyfailure(infantmortalityfailures)orlatefailuretimes(agingorwear-outfailures)Applicationsoftheprinciplesinthisguidecanbehelpfulinallowinginvestigatorstointerpretsuchdata.Note28212;Servicelifeorreliabilitydataanalysispackagesarebecomingmorereadilyavailableinstandardorcommoncomputersoftwarepackages.Thisputsdatareductionandanalysesmorereadilyintothehandsofagrowingnumberofinvestigators.1.1Thisguidepresentsbrieflysomegenerallyacceptedmethodsofstatisticalanalyseswhichareusefulintheinterpretationofservicelifedata.Itisintendedtoproduceacommonterminologyaswellasdevelopingacommonmethodologyandquantitativeexpressionsrelatingtoservicelifeestimation.1.2Thisguidedoesnotcoverdetailedderivations,orspecialcases,butrathercoversarangeofapproacheswhichhavefoundapplicationinservicelifedataanalyses.1.3Onlythosestatisticalmethodsthathavefoundwideacceptanceinservicelifedataanalyseshavebeenconsideredinthisguide.1.4TheWeibulllifedistributionmodelisemphasizedinthisguideandexamplecalculationsofsituationscommonlyencounteredinanalysisofservicelifedataarecoveredindetail.1.5Thechoiceanduseofaparticularlifedistributionmodelshouldbebasedprimarilyonhowwellitfitsthedataandwhetheritleadstoreasonableprojectionswhenextrapolatingbeyondtherangeofdata.Furtherjustificationforselectingamodelshouldbebasedontheoreticalconsiderations.
