【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedfordeterminingthefluoridecontentofparticulatematterandgasescollectedfromtheatmospherebypassiveandactivemeans,includingplanttissues.Theuseriswarnedthatthefluoridecontentofpassivecollectors(includingplants)giveonlyqualitativeorsemiquantitativemeasurementofatmosphericfluoridecontent.1.1Thesetestmethodsdescribethesemiautomatedprocedurefortheanalysesofvarioustypesofsamplesforthepurposeofdeterminingtotalfluoride.Sincethetestmethodsincorporatemicrodistillationofthesample,theymaybeappliedtoanyfluoride-containingsolutionwherestandardsofidenticalcompositionhavebeencarriedthroughthesamesamplepreparationproceduresandhaveproventoprovidequantitativerecoverywhenanalyzedbythesemiautomatedsystem.Conversely,themethodsshallnotbeappliedforanalysesuntiltheapplicabilityhasbeendemonstrated.1.2Innormaluse,theprocedurecandetect0.1g/mLofF.Thenormalrangeofanalysisisfrom0.1to1.6g/mLofF.Higherconcentrationscanbeanalyzedbycarefuldilutionofsampleswithreagentwater.Ifdigestedsamplesroutinelyexceed1.6g/mLofF,theanalyticalportionofthepumpmanifoldcanbemodifiedtoreducesensitivity.However,thebestprocedureistoanalyzeasmalleraliquotofthesample.Mostaccurateresultsareobtainedwhenthefluorideconcentrationfallsinthemiddleorupperpartofthecalibrationcurve.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See8.3,10.2.4,and10.2.5foradditionalprecautions.
